Hand Baggage

What does hand baggage contain?
In addition to money and precious things (notebooks, camera, keys, jewelry etc.), in general, as hand baggage we recommend you take on board everything you need: important documents, medicaments and, particularly, your travel documents.

Allowed weight of hand baggage
For security reason, one hand luggage is allowed per flight. Largest dimensions are 55x40x20 cm, with a maximum weight 5 kg.

How can I be sure that my hand luggage is within the permitted limit?
If you’re not sure that hand baggage corresponds with the stated conditions, you can find weight scales at all control points. You can use them to verify dimensions and weight of your baggage.

Where will the hand luggage be placed?
On board you will find specific compartments for you hand luggage, over-head, and under the seat n front of you. It is important you place your hand luggage here and follow the instructions of the flight attendants. No luggage is allowed in the first row, or at emergency exits.
We are convinced that understand our need to limit the rules on hand luggage for security reasons.

Declaring lost luggage
In case your luggage has been lost, this is what you should do:

• Please, immediately report your lost luggage at the Lost and Found service at the Airport.
• Your lost luggage will be registered there, and entered in the global investigative operations system
• You will receive a report on lost property (lost luggage) and a reference numbe (i.e. MUC11111)
• Five days after the loss, please contact the Lost and Found office
